IML-D01 Millimeter Wave Radar for Vital Signs Monitoring is a very small and smart millimeter wave radar device which is independently researched and developed by Changsha Microbrain Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd.

IML-D01 radar sensor could be applied to non-contacting measuring and monitoring of heart rate and respiration rate of a person including adults or children. The radar has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, very high motion sensitivity, small size and low weight, easy to integrate to host system and stable detection. By actively transmitting 77GHz electromagnetic wave to the human objects and processing the scattered signal by human chest, IML-D01 radar is capable of extracting the heart rate, respiration rate and other position information of a human from their doppler modulation signal in a close range (no more than 6 meters) of the radar, which could be used to human vital signs monitor and early warn.

2 .Non-contacting measuring instead of wearing device makes its application very convenient and suitable for the health care of a wide range of people such as eld, adult and child.

3. It could be real-time measuring and monitoring for both the heart rate and respiration rate.

4. Millimeter wave detection makes very good privacy comparing to camera sensors. Radar device doesn’t take high resolution picture of its detection objects.
